what we believe

  • The Centrality of the Person of Jesus Christ

It’s all about Jesus! We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, being born of the virgin Mary, fully God and fully man, living a perfect life, and in His death and resurrection. We rest on Him alone for salvation. Our pursuit is a close personal relationship with Him.

  • The Authority of the Bible

We believe in the inerrancy, infallibility and sufficiency of scripture. God’s infallible word is the final authority concerning faith, godliness, truth and morality, with every other authority being subservient to Scripture.

  • The Presence & Working of the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit, given to us by God, brings conviction of sin, regeneration, indwells, fills, comforts, guides and empowers us to live as Jesus did. We believe in the spiritual gifts given by the Holy Spirit and His supernatural working in and through us.

  • Evangelism & Missions

We believe that evangelism and missions are not an event, rather a lifestyle, and that out of the overflow of our love for God comes the desire to be obedient to His words and spread the Gospel of His Kingdom locally and globally, demonstrating the Gospel in word, deed and signs.

  • Discipleship & Multiplication

We not only have a commitment to the seeing the intentional growth of every individual, but also we recognise the Scriptural mandate that says we should be disciples who make disciples. We look to teach, mentor, train, and send disciples who will in turn make more disciples!

  • Prayer

We believe that every day, every activity and every venture must be saturated by prayer, seeking the Father’s heart and will in all that is done.

  • Oneness

We don’t just seek to be merely a friendly church, but a church that is one: the same way that Jesus and God are one. We are a family who are determined to love, share, sacrifice, grow together and always keep a bond of peace as we keep Jesus at the centre of all we do.

  • People First

People are priority above programmes, activities and economics. As each person bears the image of God, status, gifting or abilities do not determine the intrinsic value of each individual.

  • Generosity & Service

We believe that our lives should be marked by both generosity and service, in all things and on all occasions.
